Summon blessings confer new passives that can again change up how you play the game. Another kind of affinity-bonus - randomly rolled and effects your stats in a big way. Chaos effects (DLC): additional affinity that stacks separate from regular job affinity and enables even stronger affixes on weapons. You unlock even higher tiers of affinity effects as you progress through the DLC. These can range from stat increases, to properties that substantially change how you play. Every job will have an affinity "set bonus", where the higher your affinity the more passives you unlock. These are randomly rolled and correspond to certain jobs.
